Leisure Tyres RETURNS POLICY

If you are not happy with your purchase then Leisure Tyres will accept the return of goods up to 30 days after the date of delivery. To qualify for a refund all goods must still be in their original saleable condition (not used, not fitted, not damaged). Goods must be returned to us at your cost, and be returned to the correct distribution depot complete with a unique Leisure Tyres Returns label specific to your order. A 10% restocking fee may be applied to any orders where another compensating order of the same or higher value is not placed. Returns cannot be accepted for manufactured wheel rims or items imported at the customers request. Please read fully and follow the returns procedure below should you wish to make a return.

*** Goods must be returned to the correct depot, with the correct returns reference codes, and a printed copy of your unique returns label else a refund will not be issued. ***

RETURNS PROCEDURE

1. You must complete and submit the return request form on this page to inform us that you wish to return an item. Once received we will reply via email within 1 working day to provide you with the correct return address, along with your unique return reference codes and your returns label to attach to the goods.

2. Please note that any goods that have been used, fitted or are returned damaged (including damage sustained whilst in transit by your delivery agents) will not qualify for a refund. Please also note that this returns policy does not apply to custom orders made for manufactured wheel rims, or to specialist orders for non-standard stock items that contain goods purchased or imported specifically at your request (these items are non-refundable).

3. Carriage fees for returning large items can be costly, so before ordering please always double check your tyre size markings, the speed and load indexes, and ensure you speak with your machinery dealer or manufacturer if in any doubt about the suitability of goods you are ordering. The Big Tyres team are also always available to offer a helping hand by phone, email or live chat if you wish to discuss your requirements before ordering.

4. When sending goods back to Big Tyres we recommend that you retain proof of postage, and choose a tracked and sign for service to guard against goods being lost by your couriers in transit. We recommend you ensure the package is covered by adequate insurance in case of damage to goods whilst in transit, and most couriers/postal services will offer this. For small packages weighing under 30kg, you can get a postage quote from https://www.upstoday.com but please ensure that you read and follow their packing instructions here.

If you would like assistance in returning your goods we can usually offer to quote on a collection service. Please indicate that you require this when completing the returns form. Our collection fees generally go by the total weight of the goods to be returned, and the below figures can be used as a general guide to what the collection fees are likely to be:

Total Package Weight Between 0 - 30 kg - £10.00 + VAT

Please be aware that for collections arranged by Leisure Tyres on your behalf we will require the goods to be available for collection between 8am - 6pm over a 3 working day period. If the couriers arrive and no one is present the collection fee cannot be refunded, and an additional collection will need to be organised and paid for. Also note that remote locations like the highlands may incur higher collections fees than those stated above.

*** Goods must be returned to the correct depot, with the correct returns reference codes, and a printed copy of your unique returns label else a refund will not be issued. **

DAMAGED GOODS / SHORTAGES

It is the customers responsibility to inspect goods upon delivery to ensure that all pieces are present, that the goods received are what were ordered, and that there is no damage present to any items. If any shortages or damaged goods exists they must be noted at the time of delivery. You must advise the courier of all shortages or damages, and you must ensure that the courier records them on their delivery confirmation slip. You must also inform Leisure Tyres of any shortages or damages in writing within 2 working days of delivery. Once reported we will investigate the claim and ensure any additional or replacement items are dispatched as appropriate. Please note that failure to record shortages or damage at the time of delivery could result in a claim for shortages or damages being rejected.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

Tyres supplied by Leisure Tyres will be covered by the manufacturer's standard terms of warranty which can be viewed on their website or you can request them from us. If a tyre fails you may wish to make a warranty claim against the tyre manufacturer. It is important to note that Leisure Tyres are not the manufacturer of the tyres that we sell, therefore the tyres are sold with all warranties (if any) issued by the manufacturers and based upon the fact that the manufacturers only manufacture goods of merchantable quality, the goods are transmitted without examination by the seller upon the basis that any lack of merchantable quality is a matter between the buyer and the manufacturer.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
In order for Leisure Tyres to issue a refund from the manufacturer you must first notify us of the fault by emailing us with your order number, the details of goods for which you wish to make a claim, and a full description of the issues surrounding the claim.

If deemed necessary the goods will then need to be collected from you at your cost and sent to the manufacturer for inspection. Should the tyre be found to be faulty, a credit will be issued for the goods and the collection fee, with the credit being reduced depending on the remaining tread depth of the tyre. However, if there is no fault, you will be liable for the collection and return delivery fee of the tyre.

In most instances the manufacturer insists on their examination of the tyre prior to accepting any liability to replace any tyre. For this reason tyre warranties cannot usually be resolved for at least four weeks.
